Join Verso Ministries and other Group Leaders on a Scouting Trip trip in anticipation of World Youth Day 2027 in South Korea. We’ll explore Seoul’s highlights, visit hotels, meet with the World Youth Day Local Organizing Committee, attend Mass at local shrines, and plan out all of the details for groups traveling to World Youth Day. In addition to familiarizing yourself with neighborhoods, restaurants, and public transportation, you’ll get a better idea of what it will be like to work and travel with Verso Ministries.

Accommodations will be in one of Verso’s “simple” WYD properties, the Ibis Ambassador Insadong or similar.
Pricing is listed per person in double-occupancy rooms and does not include airfare. Group Leaders organizing a pilgrimage to World Youth Day 2027 with Verso Ministries qualify for the $1,199/person price, up to two leaders per group. The cost for additional guests (spouses, etc.) or additional leaders is $1,699/person (double-occupancy).
The number of available single-occupancy rooms is limited.
The World Youth Day Scouting Trip is FREE* for group leaders who bring 40 or more full-paying pilgrims to World Youth Day 2027!
Group leaders who bring a group of 40 pilgrims or more to World Youth Day 2027 will receive an invoice credit for one World Youth Day Scouting Trip registration fee ($1,199 value), plus up to a budgeted amount in airfare reimbursement (exact budget to be determined Summer 2026). In order to receive airfare reimbursement, receipts for airfare costs must be submitted to Verso Ministries.
Group leaders should register and pay for the Scouting Trip and purchase their flights. Reimbursements for qualifying groups will be processed following the conclusion of World Youth Day 2027.

Group Leaders should arrange their flights according to the information below.
Note: Group Leaders will be given a budget for airfare reimbursement no later than August 2026. In order to qualify for airfare reimbursement, groups must bring 40 or more full paying pilgrims to World Youth Day. Reimbursement will occur following the conclusion of the World Youth Day pilgrimage.
Important Note: The start date of the pilgrimage is listed as February 21, however, depending on departure location in the U.S., some Group Leaders may need to depart the U.S. on February 20 in order to arrive by February 22.

Final package price is estimated. Pricing is based on currency exchange rates as of February 2026. Any drastic fluctuations in currency exchange rates may impact final pricing. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted to Verso Ministries in written form and received via email or mail. Any refunds, as applicable, will be processed based on the date stamp of email or mail received. Cancellation fees are for individual pilgrims and fees will be charged per person per booking.
Cancellations are possible at any time, but refunds are subject to cancellation fees at the rates listed here.
*To qualify for free cancellation within 2 weeks of deposit, deposit must be made 180 days or more prior to departure.
Any cancellation charges incurred from other suppliers or vendors (flight, lodging, ground transportation, tickets, etc.) may come in addition to the administrative fees listed here. All group flight airline tickets, optional excursions, trip options, pre/post extensions, private transfers, and additional hotel nights are non-refundable 100 days or less prior to departure unless otherwise noted.
