Verso’s Call to Climb On

While on pilgrimage at World Youth Day in 2016, Verso founder John Paul Lichon stood in a sea of young adults listening to Pope Francis deliver his address. Pope Francis spoke of the pitfalls, the difficulties, and the inevitability of failure when living a life following Jesus. He said this line that wove its way into John Paul’s heart, “The goal of climbing a mountain is not to never fall, it’s to not remain fallen.”

The pandemic brought about hardships and pitfalls for our ministry to navigate, but Verso is continuing to answer God’s call to lead others to Christ through pilgrimage. The words of Pope Francis from over five years ago are continuing to resonate with our team – we are taking hold of Christ’s outstretched hand and climbing on. We invite you, our friends, partners, and pilgrims, to climb on with us! As we slowly and safely return to travel, we encourage you to join us in exploring the sacred and discovering what God has in store for you.

Are you ready to Climb On? Book any pilgrimage by September 30, 2021, and get $200 off per person when you enter promo code “ClimbOn200” at checkout.
