Gary Rabideau has been an active member of St. Stephen Catholic Community in Old Hickory parish since 2003.  He regularly sings tenor in the 8:30 choir, has been a song leader/cantor (cantored over 250 weddings and an Iowa bishops’ installation) for over 5 decades at many parishes and is a Knights of Columbus 4th Degree.  Originally raised on a dairy farm in Chazy, NY (way Upstate), Gary received a BS degree from Cornell University. He taught high school for 2 years, followed by a 20-year corporate career in sales and management, then owned a bookstore/café and is now a real estate managing broker in the Nashville area – a nice variety of occupations.  Joanne and Gary have been married for 50 years with 2 grown married daughters and 4 grandchildren – blessings. “We love to travel and August 28, 2025 marks a year since we left for a 15-day trip to Scotland – fantastic!  In 2003 our Memphis TN OLPH church choir did a pilgrimage to Rome, Italy and were invited to sing the 10:30 Sunday High Mass in St. Peters Cathedral – A high water mark for sure.  Gary also sang most recently with the Nashville Symphony Chorus 3 years, Nashville Vocal Jazz Company for 10 years and The Jazz Alliance Big Band 17 years.  Some hobbies are Gardening (Master Gardener), travel, music, food & wine and family are a few hobbies.”

Should I purchase travel protection?

We recommend that all pilgrims consider purchasing travel protection. We partner with Travel Insured International (TII) to offer travel protection.  According to TII, travel protection helps protect you and those you are traveling with from unforeseen emergencies, which always seem to happen at the worst possible time. In the event of emergencies, both before and during your travels, as well other circumstances, like travel delay, lost baggage, missed connection(s), and much more, travel protection can help. Upon registration you will receive a travel protection quotation from TII. If you have any questions regarding your quotation, please call TII. If you need an updated or new quotation, please contact us at hello@versoministries.com or call us at 574-383-9396.
