To attend the events of World Youth Day 2027, you must register! This can happen two ways: through the official WYD Seoul registration platform or through a pilgrimage group that handles registration, housing, transportation, and logistics. We recommend the latter: why worry about all those details yourself?
When Does World Youth Day 2027 Registration Open?
The World Youth Day 2027 registration process on the official website will open later this year. It generally starts about a year out from the event.
But you want to start planning today for your pilgrimage! There are so many things to think about: hotel rooms, plane tickets, sites to see… and why worry about all those details yourself? When you come to World Youth Day with us, we promise centrally-located, air-conditioned hotels, curated experiences, and we will handle your WYD registration with the WYD committee!
How to Register for WYD 2027: Step-by-Step
- Decide whether to attend with a group or individually
- Choose your registration package (announced later at https://wydseoul.org/)
- Submit required pilgrim information
- Pay registration deposit
- Complete final documentation
While it’s possible to register independently, many pilgrims choose to travel with an organized group for support, housing, spiritual preparation, and international coordination.
What Is Included in World Youth Day Registration Packages?
Traditionally, registration with the World Youth Day committee includes important things like a badge that gets you access to all events. It also includes your meal vouchers during the days of World Youth Day and access to public transportation. There is also a fun pilgrim kit, which might include swag like a t-shirt, water bottle, and other fun souvenirs. If you attend World Youth day on your own, you need to arrange to pick this up when you arrive in Seoul.
But when you go with us, we handle all of that for you! Our WYD 2027 packages include your World Youth Day registration, including picking up your kit for you, plus things like a Verso pilgrimage director, a Korean guide, formation resources, assistance in preparing beforehand, hotel accommodations, and more.
Who Can Register for World Youth Day 2027?
World Youth Day was designed as a gathering for young adults throughout the world, so the majority of participants will be between 16 and 35 years old. But we have taken pilgrims of all ages.
