World Youth Day 2023 Dates Announced

The long awaited World Youth Day 2023 dates are finally here! Let's start planning together!

World Youth Day Lisbon – August 1 – 6, 2023

After a two-year postponement and months of waiting for dates, we are happy to announce that World Youth Day 2023 will take place from August 1st to August 6th. This is really exciting, not only because it means we get to start making concrete plans, but because the early August date will allow students from around the US to participate without impacting their school schedules!

Are you a little unsure about what to expect at WYD? In addition to the chance to meet faith-filled young people from across the globe, participants will get to celebrate Mass with the Pope, learn from bishops during catechesis sessions, hold a vigil under the stars, and visit Fátima. We would say that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, but many people come back to World Youth Day again and again! It’s an incredible chance to experience the universal church and dive deeper into your faith.

If you’re interested in bringing a group to World Youth Day 2023, we’d love to help. We’re hosting a series of webinars designed for group leaders that will provide details and helpful tips and tricks as you consider a group pilgrimage to WYD. To learn more about the webinar topics and to register, visit our website.

If you’re ready to start planning or simply want to learn more about how Verso can help, you can schedule a discovery call with Verso founder, John Paul, where he can walk you through the details and discernment process of planning a pilgrimage with Verso.

We’re so excited to experience World Youth Day with you! As the date draws closer over the next few months, we ask for your prayers for all of the pilgrims traveling to celebrate the life of youth in the church.

Saint John Paul II, pray for us!
